The short answer
What should a commercial winter plan cover?
A commercial winter plan should identify the areas to clear and treat, priority routes, service triggers, access arrangements, approval contacts and the process for repeat visits. Agree on these details in writing before work is scheduled.
Before you send the request
Does a parking lot contract include sidewalks?
Only if the agreed scope includes them. Mark each pedestrian route and assign responsibility for every segment.
Does salting replace snow removal?
Treat them as separate services in the proposal. Specify which surfaces need clearance, treatment or both, and how additional visits are approved.
What should I send for an estimate?
Start with the address, property type, operating hours, priority areas and any site photos. The team can review unknown details with you.
